Holi in India: two day festival

Come celebrate Holi in India and experience the traditional festival in all its glory and gusto at one of our partner properties. Holi is a two day festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil, as well as the abundance of the spring harvest season. People exuberantly enjoy this festival smearing each other with vibrant colours and drenching one another in coloured water. A popular, albeit traditional, activity is to consume Bhang (a paste made from the cannabis plant) mixed with sweets or other food items during the celebrations.
Celebrated by Hindus all over the world, Holi marks the beginning of spring, and is usually celebrated in March. Of course like any other Hindu festival, it has its own religious and mythological significance; and a famous legend associated with it.  Holi, a festival of colours, fun, and frolic!
